The Divine Game of Remembering Who We Are

Our soul lives constantly seeking its realization, even if we don’t remember who we are.

We think that our life events are random — luck or misfortune — yet everything is perfectly arranged for a single purpose: to remember who we are.

Our arrival to this planet was never a mistake; it wasn’t an accident. It was part of a perfect plan.

Human life is experienced through pain until we acknowledge the truth — that we are constantly following a wise, divine plan of existence. We come to contribute to the Divine Project of self-recognition of the Origin in all its manifestations, forms, and shapes.

Our human interactions are our school of self-knowledge, and our vocational call is our tool of contribution to this collective project.

It all goes back to the Desire of the One to know Itself in all shapes — not only in completeness, wholeness, and perfection, but also through fragmentation, scarcity, void, darkness, and uncertainty. And the game is to return to that completeness, that wholeness, and that perfection while being a singular, small, almost invisible individual in the Universe.

The whole game is to recover the connection with the inner light in order to restore our essence in the midst of chaos and noise —
a noise that, if we listen attentively beyond it, plays a harmonious melody. Because every chaos contains harmony, perfection, and Love.

How can we access that acknowledgment? Certainly not if we continue seeing only with the physical eyes and interpreting reality based on a fragmented mind bound to time and space. Our soul walks through bombs, wars, anger, and conflict — knowing that in that mess, it has the potential to recognize itself.

The beauty — and the madness — of this game is to know the essential in the middle of darkness:
to awaken our inner power in the middle of weakness,
to awaken our divinity in the middle of vulnerability,
to become free in the middle of slavery.

The path is to cross darkness to discover that, on the other side, there is only Light. There is only Love. There is only Perfection.

The loss, the pain, the scarcity, the deprivation, the slavery, the wars, the conflict — they are unreal.
It is us experiencing the lack of God in order to reconnect to the Essence, developing what we didn’t know while we were the One itself.

Faith — how can we have faith if we already know? There is no faith when there is total awareness and clarity.

Faith is a high degree of Love, because it means believing in what I don’t see. And it is such a crooked, distorted way to know Love.

Enlightenment on this Earth is to recognize God in pain, to recognize perfection in suffering, to recognize completeness in scarcity, and to recognize the harmonious melody in the middle of chaos and absurd noise.
That is the meaning of awakening.

Can I recognize Love in the one who harms me?
Can I see his attempt at self-protection?
Can I see his weakness — how he feels so disconnected that he assumes I am his enemy?

The biggest threat to separation is Love. Because Love is this magnetic force that brings the pieces of the puzzle together, dissolving our individual, limited 3D projects of silly power.

It requires courage and madness to open myself to Love in the middle of conflict. It requires madness to connect to the wounded love of the one who hurts me intentionally — and to cross his distortions in which he thinks I am the enemy. It requires a high level of madness to see his desire for self-preservation in the very moment he attempts to harm me. And even more madness to contemplate him with love, compassion, and a great desire for his awakening to his real reality.

And to feel gratitude — because through his harm, I healed. His harm pushed me to remember who I am. His harm awakened my consciousness.

It requires outstanding amounts of Light to love the one who damages my integrity. And the easiest way to do so is by recognizing the times I have harmed others for the sake of my own self-preservation. Then I understand how others operate — because I was once that person who thought I had to defend myself, protect myself, and take care of myself by putting a stop to others, not always in an ethical way.

I can learn to love when I realize how I hate.
What does the person I hate make me feel? Fear.
And fear of what? Fear of death — symbolic or real.

Then I reconnect to my immortality, my eternity, and my infinity, regardless of how many times they try to kill me. Each attack becomes a turning point — a new level of awareness of my essence.
Isn’t it perfect?

Those parents who didn’t know how to love me, those companions of life who abused me — and I abused — those brothers and sisters I saw as enemies… aren’t they my greatest masters on this Earth of Faith and Love?

Now, the typical question following this is: should I stay there, receiving harm?
And the answer is: what does your soul need? Regardless of the decisions you think you are taking, you will be where you need to train.

Because it’s true that you aren’t in charge, and you can’t stop your destiny marked by your soul. However, remain peaceful, knowing your soul has a perfect plan designed to prompt your awakening.

The only decision you have is to remain receptive to your soul’s desire to awaken you — or to remain asleep.

My name is Lala Gomez, and I was born in Colombia. My spiritual path was initiated in 2004 through Islam, which I studied in depth for many years. Between 2004 and 2012, I immersed myself in the spiritual, mystical, and theological dimensions of the tradition—a study that continued for a decade more as I began to integrate esoteric tools and other schools of thought, including Kabbalah, Astrology, and Tarot. In 2012, I consciously stepped into a healing process that became a turning point in my life. Guided by a natural connection to Reiki, Tarot, and Astrology, I began developing a personal practice rooted in energy work, intuitive insight, and symbolic exploration. Tarot, in particular, became a therapeutic path for inner listening and healing, which I now offer through a method that blends systemic perspectives, subtle energy, and ancestral wisdom. In 2014, I founded islamenespanol.co to share the essence of Islam beyond rigid interpretations. After a decade of transformation, I launched thecircleofhanik.com—a space dedicated to universal spiritual guidance, beyond the boundaries of any single tradition. Currently, I’m developing a sacred method of natal chart interpretation based on the 28 lunar mansions and the Divine Names of God, inspired by the teachings of Sufi master Ibn Arabi. I’m also writing a book on the 99 Names of Allah as living aspects of the soul’s essence and pathways for inner integration.
